Brother Pelzer was first elected president of the WLC on November 16, 2004 and re-elected November 17, 2007. Brother Pelzer has been on the WLC Executive for the past 18 year and a active member in the labour movement for over 30 years.

Brother Pelzer is a member of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1505.
